This policy explains what personal data Relomize collects, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices and rights you have. It applies to relomize.me and the emails we send.
Who we are
Relomize Me Solutions Ltd ("Relomize", "we", "us") is the controller of your personal data.
- Registered in: United Kingdom
- Privacy contact: privacy@relomize.me
The short version
- We collect what you give us when you ask for help, plan a move or apply as a provider, plus limited technical data.
- We use it to run Relomize, answer you and connect you with local providers when you ask us to.
- We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We only use analytics cookies if you allow them (or, in the US, unless you opt out).
- You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data at any time.
What we don't ask for
Relomize does not ask you to upload passports, medical records, bank or financial documents, or immigration evidence. Please don't include that kind of information in free-text fields.
Personal data we collect
When you ask for help (Get help, local help and relocation request forms): your email address, the city and timing, the kind of help you need, the note you write, and whether you agreed to be contacted and to receive optional tips.
When you build or save a relocation plan: your assessment answers (for example timeline, work situation, family and budget ranges, and any free-text context you add). If you save your plan we create an account linked to your email address. If you ask us to email you a copy without saving, we use your email only to send it and don't keep it.
When you apply or register interest as a provider: your name, email, company, coverage, services, website and notes; and, if you apply for verification, business details, a private contact phone number, tax or registration identifiers and the verification documents you upload. Verification documents are stored privately and are never public.
When you use the marketplace (as features launch): your requests, messages and proposals. Authorised Relomize administrators can access marketplace conversations for legitimate operations, support, moderation and safety. Conversations are not end-to-end encrypted.
Consent records: when you make a cookie or email choice we record what you chose, the wording you saw, when, your country and a keyed hash of your IP address, so we can show we respected your choice.
Technical and usage data: pages viewed, events such as "plan started", device and browser type, and approximate location (country) derived from your IP address. Before you consent, analytics runs in memory only and nothing is stored on your device. See the Cookie Policy.
Privacy requests: your email, the request and how we handled it.
How we use it and our legal bases

Where we rely on legitimate interests you can object at any time (see "Your rights").
Who we share it with
Providers you ask for help from. When you ask us to connect you with a provider, we share the details of your request with the providers who can help. Providers are independent businesses responsible for their own services and their own handling of your data.
Service providers who process data for us under contracts that limit their use of it:
None.
Others, only when required: professional advisers, authorities where the law requires it, or a buyer of our business (you would be told).
International transfers
Some service providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the EU, EEA or UK we rely on adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK addendum). Where Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law applies to a transfer, we follow its cross-border transfer requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it. The periods are listed in our Data Retention Policy.
Your rights
Everyone can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold and give you a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data;
- give you your data in a portable format;
- stop or restrict certain uses, or object to them;
- withdraw consent you've given, at any time, without affecting what happened before.
Submit a request at relomize.me/privacy/request or email privacy@relomize.me. We confirm your email address before acting, and respond within one month (EU/UK and most other places) or 45 days (US). If a request is complex we may extend this as the law allows and will tell you why.
EU, EEA and UK: you can complain to your local data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK. We'd appreciate the chance to help first.
California and other US states: you have the rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for using them. We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You can use an authorised agent; we may ask them for proof of authority. See Your Privacy Choices.
Vietnam: you have the rights under the Personal Data Protection Law, including to be informed, to consent and withdraw consent, to access, correct and delete, to restrict processing and to object.
Australia: you can access and correct your personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles and complain to us, then to the OAIC.
